Please any body help with how to cut 800 words from my editorial...!

I am writing an editorial   for collage magazine and want help with cutting words. The editorial can only be 2000-3000 words, and I have 3800 words. Any advice on how to cut that many words without taking away from the quality of the content?...please :(
